+2 votes
ID NAME SAL
7839 KING 12000
7698 SMITH 990
7782 CLARK 1000
7566 JONES 700
7788 SCOTT 678
7839 ALLEN 764
7784 SMITH 764
7521 WARD 700
7499 FORD 700
7788 FORD 900
  • Above is our example table which containts duplicate name of FORD and SMITH
  • If we would like to display those duplicate names then type the below query :

SELECT ID AS "Employee ID",
NAME AS "Employee Name",
SAL as "Salary"

FROM DUPLICATE_TEST A

WHERE EXISTS
(
   SELECT ID FROM DUPLICATE_TEST B
   WHERE B.NAME = A.NAME AND
         B.ID <> A.ID
)

Note : here DUPLICATE_TEST is the example table name , your table might be different

Query Output:

Employee ID Employee Name Salary
7784 SMITH 764
7698 SMITH 500
7788 FORD 900
7499 FORD 700

Now create a report and type the above query in the query source.

Thanks
